As Head of Accounting (m/f/d), you will oversee international finance and accounting with your team. In addition to your professional expertise, you emphasize team leadership and development.

Your Tasks

• You will lead, manage, and develop our accounting team

• You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in collaboration with the accounting team and external service providers.

• You are accountable for all accounting processes, streamlining and automating our Oracle Fusion-based processes.

• You will identify opportunities for improvement and lead projects on special accounting topics.

• You will recognize automation potentials and design implementation proposals.

• You will develop and improve financial reporting and management tools and treasury management in cooperation with the Controlling/FP&A department.

• You are the key communicator for our external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax consultants. 

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in business or a relevant further qualification, or training in financial accounting, balance sheet accounting, tax consulting, or similar.

• You have at least 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Ideally, you already have experience using Oracle in accounting.

• You have solid knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and tax regulations (especially VAT).

• You possess excellent analytical skills, a structured and detail-oriented way of working, as well as teamwork and initiative.
