As a IT Application Manager / Anwendungsbetreuer*in EDI (m/f/d), you understand value drivers and manual workload and identify, prioritise, and execute the automation of the highest-value processes. You leverage standardised data exchange protocols with our suppliers around the purchase-to-pay process (e.g., price lists, inventory, orders, invoices, etc.).

Your Tasks

  • You will support integrating processes using various middleware products based on a data hub architecture.
  • You will provide technical support for introducing new middleware for marketplace and supplier connections (e.g. Lobster or similar).
  • You support and further develop automation processes (e.g. as part of an ERP implementation) and will work closely with specialist departments to create functional specifications.
  • You ensure the onboarding of new suppliers as well as the operation of electronic data exchange with suppliers and service providers.
  • You create and manage data mappings and document the tasks and processes in JIRA and Confluence.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship or degree in an IT environment or are a career changer with a high affinity for IT.
  • You can confidently work with XML, JSON, and other common data formats. Ideally, you also have experience with EDI, MFT, and EAI.
  • You have initial professional experience developing and operating interfaces (APIs) using middleware systems and in database development based on SQL.
  • You inspire with good analytical understanding and the ability to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • You have a good command of English.
